“Cosmic Kinship expresses the ineffable connections we keep with each other beyond capitalistic appropriations of community. It expresses how the festival is all for being ‘out there’ in scope and style. How we’re connected to loved ones far away in both space and time,” says @yanyi.docx, founder of the @asianamericanliteraryarchive. “When the festival kicks off this year under the mid-autumn moon, it’ll be a reminder to all of us that we’re undergoing a new beginning, but one whose luminosity is visible to everyone, even if this year it won’t always be at the same time.”
